“Mamie’s approach to partnering is super rich and informative. I feel like partnering skills were really skipped over in my training and Mamie offers such a curious (and very physcially challenging – a good way!) way in!”
– Emma Lawes, dancer & choreographer

Colliding Bodies
Volta’s Colliding Bodies class explores highly physical and acrobatic partnering in a safe and grounded way. Rebound, theatricality, and gesture are used to tell stories through connection to another body. We discover how to manage each other’s weight in unusual contexts and learn Volta’s repertory.
